PHILOSOPHY

• The Preschool's purpose is to provide 3, 4, and 5 year old children the opportunity to develop individually, socially, academically and spiritually in an atmosphere of Christian love and principles.
• A secure environment away from home is provided so that children may learn to trust and accept direction from caring adults other than parents.
• Children are encouraged to work and play cooperatively while respecting the rights and feelings of others.
• Our goal is to help a child build a sense of self-worth, become more independent, and to prepare them for their future education experience.
• The Preschool places a high value on open communication between parents, teachers, and children. The school is open to all persons regardless of religion, ethnic background or race.
• St. Daniel's Preschool is a ministry of St. Daniel's Lutheran Church, administered by a Board of Directors.

SCHOOL CALENDAR The Preschool calendar generally follows the Conrad Weiser and other school districts schedule.

PROGRAM The Preschool's child-centered curriculum provides activities that are centered on weekly themes that include the alphabet, special holidays, creative art, creative play, music, poetry, math and writing skills. Some other features of our program are: Safe and easy parking Outdoor play area Indoor play area for inclement weather Nature walks on grounds Get acquainted coffees for parents Special class programs and special events to include parents Field trips.

REGISTRATION Registration forms may be obtained from the Preschool staff or picked up at St. Daniel's church office. Forms must be completed and returned to the Preschool office with an non-refundable $35 registration fee.

TUITION for 2009-2010 Tuition is based on a yearly fee paid monthly. The first payment is due August 1. No refunds or credits are given for vacation.

Nursery (3 years old) tuition is $747 per year or $83 per month.

Three-day Preschool tuition is $990 per year or $110 per month. 

Four-day Preschool Class tuition is $1,440 per year or $160 per month for 9 months. Children must be four years old by Sept. 1, 2009.  Classes are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:15 to 11:45.
